During March and April 2007, Zander Corporation Limited (ZCL) participated in its first ever trade exhibitions in the Middle East. The IPM Horticultural exhibition was held in Dubai over the 6th – 8th March, and the Middle East Agri Business Expo was held in Dubai over the 17th – 19th April. ZCL exhibited at both expos with its local partners, Al Darmaky Agricultural Company, and the Emirates Bio Fertilizer Factory (EBFF).
ZCL’s stands featured a number of colourful poster boards, summarising recent projects and the beneficial aspects of its to main products, Zander OrganicTM and Zander MycorrhizaTM. The ZCL stands were attended by a number of senior staff from across the region, who were on hand to greet visitors and answer technical questions about ZCL products and projects. The stands included decorative plants, trial demonstration pots, product samples and technical specification sheets. ZCL’s General Manager, Middle East, Mr Paul Zissermann, was interviewed by Saudi Arabian TV on the new products the company is bringing to the GCC countries.
Both exhibitions were very well attended by representatives of the agricultural and horticultural industries across the region. Strong interest was shown in all ZCL products, and a number of excellent opportunities have been created with potential customers in the Middle East. These include:
